Bubba's 33 in the Old Bridge/Parlin/South Amboy area is a high energy, family-friendly sports restaurant known for scratch-made American classic food, massive TV screens, and a lively garage-style bar atmosphere! A great place to watch ALL your favorite sports among friends. It was Tony's go to spot for much of the past World Cup.
But there is more. Here's what Tony G has done at Bubba's:
"Four years ago, two friends and I started a little club and called it the Bubba Hood. Not long after, Mike, the manager, suggested that we have a customer appreciation party featuring the Bubba Hood. We held our first party, and it was a smash. Since then, we’ve held seven more Bubba Hood customer appreciation parties."
After that first party, I started thinking, “Why not use this as an opportunity to give something back to our community?” So, at the second party, I made an announcement, and we passed the hat to collect donations for local charities. The response was incredible.
"What started as a simple idea among friends has grown into something I’m really proud of. Over the years, our Bubba Hood customer appreciation parties have raised and donated more than $5,200 to several children’s charities, along with another $650 to a local food bank. It’s a great reminder that when people come together, even something as simple as a group of friends getting together can make a real difference."
Do Good. Give Back. Make a Difference.
